Jimmie (Jimi) is a US Army retired Captain (21 Year Veteran) who started diving while stationed in Oahu, Hawaii in 1995.
After her retirement from the military, she moved to Rowlett, TX and has since worked as a physician assistant in a Local Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department.
She has been associated with Aqua World Scuba since she moved to the DFW area. She completed AOW and Rescue Certification thru Aqua World Scuba.

She has dived several wrecks to include the Spiegel Grove in Florida and several WWII wrecks in the Marshall Islands. She has also taken advantage of the Live-a-Board diving in Indonesia, Australia and Africa.
She has studied underwater photography in the Cayman Islands and has a passion for underwater photography. She volunteers with the “Diving with a Purpose” Organization at Biscayne National Park Underwater Archeological Education Program in Florida, learning investigative and research techniques of the multiple Florida wrecks. This program provides hands on instructions on learning to read a wreck and recognize artifacts.
She completed her PADI Divemaster and Open Water Instructor in August 2006 during an internship in Thailand. She completed the Poseidon Handicap Scuba Instructor Course in Florida 3 June 2007.
